Cohort 4: Creative, Figurative & Analytical Writing (Kids) is a 4-week, self-paced writing experience that helps students learn how to “read” visuals, lyrics, and poetry for meaning — then create their own original piece.

Students will practice figurative language, imagery, symbolism, theme, and voice using pop culture as a bridge (including K-pop Demon Hunters) plus a choice-based anchor text. By the end, students will publish a creative piece (poem / lyric-style writing / creative response) and write a short Artist’s Statement explaining their meaning and craft choices.

Best for: Grades 3–8 (scaffolded to grow with your child)
